Children live in a busy world where there is little time to slow down their bodies and their minds. By incorporating mindful practices, children’s nervous systems are quieted, attention and focus is increased and anxiety is alleviated. Mindfulness teaches relaxation, heart-centered kindness and compassion to help children become more empathic and compassionate. You will learn the differences of adult and child mindfulness process as well as the many benefits it has on the child, clinician and family.
