Previously Recorded (Non-contact)-2 CEs.
Presenter: Dianna Green, MSW, LCSW.
In play therapy understanding the role of the basic “tools” in the play room is essential for the play therapist. Conceptualizing one’s theoretical framework, the toys, and the playroom are critical in play therapy. The most frequently used and agreed upon toys to be included in the play space, the use of a traveling play bag or a fixed playroom and becoming familiar with how toys can be used to achieve therapeutic growth for children are all discussed in this webinar. Toys to be examined in this session include miniature doll family, domestic animal figures, community helper figures and toy soldiers, plastic food and dishes.
