Play therapy interventions geared specifically for boys and active children will be the focus of this workshop. Participants will gain insight into making play therapy interventions for active children and boys interesting, fun and therapeutic

  • After the workshop, participants will be able to demonstrate how to transform at least 2 stationary play therapy interventions into more physically active ones.
  • After the workshop, participants will be able describe when physically active Play therapy interventions may be particularly beneficial for a client.
  • After the workshop, participants will be able identify specific interventions and toys that incorporate activity and engage active children.
